Kitchens

Every kitchen we build is made to order. The kitchens below are examples of what is possible with West Imports, not a catalogue you order from. We manufacture completely custom cabinetry, so cabinet sizes, door styles, finishes and internal fittings are specified per project and built to the dimensions on your plans.

Specifications

  • Construction

    Frameless European construction. Cabinet boxes are built without a face frame, so the full interior width is usable and drawers run edge to edge. Runs are built to 90" high with 30" wall cabinets, an 18" cabinet over the range for a microhood, and a 72" opening for the refrigerator. All base cabinets are full height, and every kitchen includes at least one three-drawer bank.

  • Materials & Finishes

    Doors come in a wide range of finishes, including EcoVeneer, lacquer, wood veneer and solid wood. Styles run from flat slab to shaker and raised panel. Finish selection is made per project.

  • Standard Sizes

    Corner cabinets are 36" x 36". Three-drawer banks are typically 18" or 24" wide. Cabinets are quoted at the measured opening rather than a stock width plus filler, and fillers are used only where a run meets a wall. Refrigerator end panels are 28" deep.

  • Hardware

    Blum hardware throughout: full-extension drawer slides, with soft-close on both the drawers and the door hinges.

  • Lead Times

    Custom cabinetry runs 6 to 8 weeks from confirmation of the order. Select finishes can be produced locally and delivered in about two weeks.
